Phil is the co-founder and principal of Arileus Capital and is responsible for the day-to-day operations and successful execution of the firm’s investment strategies. His duties include oversight of all asset and property management functions, development, construction supervision and other real estate tasks. Prior to founding Arileus, Phil managed a full spectrum of transactions related to the acquisition, disposition, and refinancing of real estate investments totaling over $100 million in total capitalization for JS Western Retail Investments. The majority of the 13 shopping centers acquired at JS Western over a four-year period are still held in a separate partnership and are being sold opportunistically as they stabilize.
Phil also previously worked as a Development Associate at Federal Realty Investment Trust, a $10 billion publicly-traded REIT specializing in retail and mixed-use development. While at Federal Realty, Phil held a wide array of roles relating to asset management, development and financial analysis. Phil earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Villanova University and is an active member of the school’s Nova Next Council, ICSC and NAIOP. Phil has lived in New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Philadelphia and enjoys hiking, surfing, traveling and spending time with his family outside of work.

Jordan is responsible for executing the company's vision, spearheading equity relationships, and overseeing all acquisitions for the firm. Prior to founding Arileus, Jordan worked as the Director of Acquisitions for JS Western Retail Investments, acquiring real estate investments and helping oversee JS Western’s portfolio of over $100 Million in total assets. Prior to JS Western, Jordan was an Associate at Blueprint Real Estate Advisors. Jordan specialized in the origination and execution of healthcare real estate transactions in the Western United States. Prior to Blueprint, Jordan worked for AIPAC, a bi-partisan political lobby working to strengthen the US-Israel relationship. Jordan worked with current and prospective investors fulfilling the mission of the organization.
Jordan received a bachelor’s degree in counter-terrorism and conflict resolution from the Interdisciplinary Center in Israel. He is a Club Member of AIPAC, member of the Jewish Federation’s Community Leadership Institute, and the Director of Key Relationships for The Nation Foundation. Jordan enjoys spending time in the mountains, hanging out with his dog, and spending time with his family.

Christian is responsible for asset management of all properties across the Arileus portfolio. He is also leading business development efforts to standardize processes across all pillars of Arileus operations.
Christian joins Arileus with 8 years of professional experience in Process Engineering and Project Management. Most recently with Lockheed Martin, Christian managed the development of complex manufacturing processes for US Navy hardware. This included management of supply chain, facilities, and engineering operations, accountable for about $10MM in annual budget. Christian also led capital proposal efforts for over $500MM of total project scope. Prior to Lockheed Martin, Christian worked at the Anheuser-Busch InBev brewery in Newark, NJ as both a Logistics and Operations Group Manager, responsible for the performance of high-volume manufacturing operations and process improvement.
Christian made the pivot to Arileus after managing his own portfolio of small multifamily investments and obtaining his MBA from Villanova University with specializations in Real Estate and Finance. Christian also hold a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Finance from Drexel University. Christian grew up in the Philadelphia area, where he enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and golf.

Sam is responsible for sourcing and analyzing new acquisitions, while also assisting with the day to day asset management tasks of the company. Prior to joining Arileus Capital, Sam spent two years working for The Zall Company, a boutique retail brokerage firm in Denver specializing in Landlord and tenant representation centered around retail leasing. Additionally, Sam worked as a consultant for new retail developments across the West Coast, assisting his team with projects in Parker, Colorado and Sacramento, California.
Prior joining the Zall Company, Sam spent two years working for a high end creative office developer, HQ development in Los Angeles. Sam worked directly on the development of premier creative offices in the Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and Culver City markets. One of his highlights was the work he did with Fortune 500 companies, building out unique high end office spaces to fit tenant’s specific needs.
Previous to his work in real estate, Sam spent three years serving in the Israeli Defense Force as a special forces operator in various high conflict areas. As a New Jersey native, you can find Sam snowboarding, reading, and exploring the great outdoors in his free time, which ultimately led him to the Rocky Mountains.
